Your Slovenian Coast & Wine experience consists of: - Depart from Ljubljana in the morning and head south towards Koper, a historic port town on the Adriatic coast, - We will take a walking tour of Koper and explore its old town, including the Praetorian Palace, Tito Square, and the Cathedral of the Assumption, - Next, we will have a sample some of Slovenia's wines from a unique vine fountain and enjoy the view of the Coast, - After the wine tasting, we'll make our way to the Sečovlje Salt Pans, a unique natural reserve and home to one of the last remaining salt pans in the Mediterranea and take a short tour of the salt pans, - We will visit Piran and explore its historic center, including the Tartini Square, the Church of St. George, and the Venetian House, - After some free time for lunch/shopping/enjoying the sea, we will head to a winery to taste some more delicious Slovenian wines, - Finally, we'll make your way back to Ljubljana, stopping at scenic viewpoints along the way to enjoy the beautiful coastal views.
