Tour Description

Our journey begins with a drive through a scenic countryside route towards Radovljica - a larger old styled Slovenian village with a lot of history. From there, we'll continue on to Lake Bled, where you'll have the opportunity to marvel at the breathtaking scenery, including the iconic medieval castle perched on a rocky cliff. Finally, we'll venture to the emerald green Lake Bohinj, part of Triglav National Park, nestled in the heart of the Julian Alps and surrounded by towering peaks - one of them is Vogel, which we will also visit on a clear day. 1. Pickup in Ljubljana 2. Radovljica - Our first quick stop is Radovljica - a small picturesque town , known for its well-preserved medieval architecture and delicious local gingerbread. 3. Lake Bled - We'll take you to the lake to visit the enchanting Bled Island. Don't forget to ring the wishing bell, said to grant hidden desires,... After the island visit, you will have plenty of time to wander around the lake and visit the Bled castle. 4. Lake Bohinj - The second main stop is the lake Bohinj and the pristine nature surrounding it. We'll take a boat ride to the funicular that takes you up the mountain Vogel (1533m)*. There is a beautiful viewpoint over the lake from the mountaintops, but it is not for the faint-hearted. If you’re afraid of heights, you might want to skip this one and just explore the lake surroundings or take a refreshing dip in the lake. 5. Škofja Loka - before the tour winds to a close, we will stop at the town of Škofja Loka, which has a fairytale castle and the oldest bridge in Central Europe. 6.
